Anderson Baker, III, CPCU, ARM - President, Gillis, Ellis & Baker:
Anderson joined the agency in 1982 after his graduation from Tulane University. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation as well as the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. In addition to his numerous commercial and personal lines clients, Anderson is also responsible for some of the more creative insurance and risk management solutions offered by GEB, including the creation of the first Louisiana domiciled captive insurance company in 2010.
Liz VanDervort, MLIS - Producer, Gillis, Ellis & Baker:
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from Louisiana State University, Liz spent more than four years at Louisiana Medical Mutual Insurance Company (LAMMICO) specializing in health care and professional liability insurance. She joined GEB in 2012 to work with commercial property & casualty clients, while also meeting her clients’ personal lines and employee benefits needs. Liz has completed Traveler’s School for Producer Development and YLC’s Leadership Development Series. Liz is dually licensed in property & casualty insurance and life & health.
Megan Guy, JD, MBA - Executive Counsel & Producer, Gillis, Ellis & Baker:
Megan joined Gillis, Ellis & Baker in 2015, as Executive Counsel and Producer. She obtained her B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University, her J.D. from Tulane Law School and her M.B.A. from the A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University. Prior to joining GEB, Megan was an attorney for 15 years at Adams and Reese, LLP, where her practice focused on litigation, including insurance coverage and defense claims.
