R. Parke Ellis, CPCU | Chairman | Gillis, Ellis & Baker:
Parke has been with Gillis, Ellis & Baker since 1981. As a producer, he focuses on the entire spectrum of insurance and risk management for his clients. The result is a large, well-balanced book of business, which includes commercial lines, personal lines and benefits.
Parke has a specialty in Policy Audit and has been published in various trade publications. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Parke is a graduate of St. Martin's High School in Metairie, LA and the Williams School of Business at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Parke is active in the insurance industry in numerous capacities, including co-founding the Louisiana Insurance Academy, serving as the President of the Associated Risk Managers (ARM) of Louisiana, and holding positions such as Past President and Past Board Member of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Louisiana and New Orleans.
Betsy Ellis Clement | Producer | Gillis, Ellis & Baker:
A native of New Orleans, Betsy graduated from Isidore Newman School and went on to double major in Business Administration and Mass Communications at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA, where she graduated Cum Laude.
Post-graduation, Betsy spent two years in New York City as Public Relations & Special Events Coordinator and Showroom Manager for Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton. She returned to New Orleans in January of 2012 and joined GEB as producer. A licensed property and casualty broker, Betsy has developed a special interest in the high end personal lines arena. She has completed Traveler’s School for Producer Development and is currently pursuing her CRM & CIC designations.
Betsy is a member of the Junior League and an alumnus of the Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans (EPNO) program.
Alec Fritchie | Producer | Gillis, Ellis & Baker:
A Native of New Orleans, Alec is a graduate of St. Martin’s Episcopal School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in History from Texas Christian University.
Prior to joining GEB in January 2014, Alec lived and worked in Washington, DC, as the Military Legislative Assistant for Congressman John Culberson, Chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction and Veteran’s Affairs. Alec moved from Washington to Dallas, Texas in 2012 and worked for Korn/Ferry International.
Parking:
Validated parking is available in the parking garages at 1615 Poydras and 1555 Poydras. Metered street parking is also available.
