Economic development group Greater New Orleans Inc. has announced that it has contracted with Renaissance Publishing (owner of BizNewOrleans.com) to produce a new quarterly publication focused on the greater New Orleans regional economy. Region Magazine will debut in February at the GNO, Inc. annual meeting.
Region will be targeted to the general public and the business community, two critical demographics in GNO, Inc.’s mission to create a robust and growing middle class in the greater New Orleans region. It will include news features and human interest stories about the latest business developments in the region.
Todd Matherne, CEO of Renaissance Publishing, said “We are proud that GNO, Inc. chose us to produce this magazine for their organization. We pride ourselves in creating national award-winning custom publications for organizations and associations. We look forward to telling great stories about the success GNO, Inc. is having throughout southeast Louisiana.”

The nonprofit’s stated mission is to “create a region where our children and grandchildren can live and prosper, a region with abundant job opportunities and excellent quality of life.
