Nicoll’s Limousine and Shuttle Service, Inc. Celebrates 30 Years in Business
Mike Nicoll is a lifelong citizen of Jefferson Parish, La and resides in Kenner, Louisiana. He and his siblings attended school at St. Angela Merici and he attended Rummel High School. Mike then attended University of Lafayette, and worked alongside his father, James A. Nicoll, in the construction business for 10 years. The construction market changed and the work started to scale back. It was at that time Mike and his father agreed it was a great time to start his own business.
Mike then took the money he saved and bought his first limousine and began driving. A short time later, he bought another limousine and a 1957 Rolls-Royce. Before he knew it, he had a fleet of vehicles based out of his home.
In 2000, Mike purchased property in Kenner on Williams Blvd. and built an office and warehouse for his vehicles and operations. The business was great with weddings, proms, sporting events, and corporate work. Businesses began using various vehicles as in limousines, busses, shuttle busses, SUV’s, and Town Cars for their clients.
Over the years the business changed for everyone, Hurricane Katrina and the BP Oil Spill etched its’ way into businesses throughout the State of Louisiana. Fortunately, corporate business has increased for us as shuttle busses, SUV’s and Town Cars became more popular.
Mike feels very blessed and proud of Nicoll’s Limousine and Shuttle Service, Inc. He knows that over the last 30 years he and his transportation company has helped many clients throughout the State of Louisiana, whether it be a special night out, wedding, prom, concert, festival, foundation event, sporting event or shuttles for employees and their clients.
Mike would genuinely like to thank everyone in the metropolitan area, and State of Louisiana for your business throughout the years.
