Drafts for Crafts
Drafts for Crafts, supported by IBERIABANK and presented by The National WWII Museum’s Young Benefactors Committee, features live music on two stages, samplings from local restaurants, the NOLA Brewing Beer Garden and an incredible wine raffle! Proceeds from this year’s Drafts for Crafts will support the restoration of a new macro-artifact – a 1943 Ford-American LaFrance Fire Truck. When completed, the restored Army Fire Truck will be displayed at the Museum’s main campus and used to educate the public about service on the American Home Front during World War II, helping interpret the broad range of occupations and tasks needed to win the war. The Young Benefactors Committee is a group of young professionals whose mission is to support the restoration and the preservation of important WWII artifacts.
