Laissez Les Bibliothèques Rouler (Let The Libraries Roll) is the culminating event of our campaign, celebrating the vital role of libraries while embracing New Orleans' rich culture of music, gathering, and advocacy. This event will highlight: The importance of libraries as dynamic spaces for education, creativity, and community. The launch of Monroe Library’s vinyl collection, reinforcing the library as a cultural hub. The reestablishment of Monroe Library as a communal space, harking back to its history of hosting performances and events. The final phase of the campaign: advocacy, encouraging attendees to take action in support of libraries.
