Are you satisfied with the quality of job applicants seeking employment at your business? Do your new hires join the team with the skills necessary to hit the ground running? Do you know about the tools and resources available to ensure Jefferson Parish residents are prepared to work in our growing industry sectors? We’re here to fill you in!
Workforce development is an important part of a community’s economic growth and success. We know business owners want to hire employees with the skill sets needed to advance the company. As the needs of our businesses change, our community adjusts the strategy to ensure we are training the next generation of workers to meet the demand. There are tools, initiatives, and educational programs available to bolster Jefferson Parish’s workforce, connect employers to skilled workers, and assist businesses with training opportunities.
