Family owned and operated serving south Louisiana for over 40 years, we offer one on one attention that you’re not going to get anywhere else. We have showrooms in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Lake Charles. Our selection is far larger than big box stores and we are more reliable than online retailers.

From the very beginning, Davis Decorative Hardware, formerly Davis Sales Company, was a father-son business. In 1982 John F. “Jack” Davis Jr was an engineer. Bert was selling abrasives and adhesives after he graduated from Milsaps in business. They started out selling sandpaper to cabinet makers in the Baton Rouge area but noticed there was a need for functional products, such as drawer slides and screws.

As the business expanded into southeast Mississippi and New Orleans in the early 2000’s, they then saw a need for quality decorative hardware that could be sold directly to homeowners along with residential and commercial home builders, particularly custom home builders. Selling to custom home builders allows builders to send their clients to one of the showrooms to meet with a design consultant and select the perfect items for their custom-built homes.

Jack passed away in 2016 but he considered the success of Davis Sales Company to be proudest professional achievement. His family and others who were close to him cherish his kindness and especially his sense of humor.
