About Us

The decision to pick up an instrument, put on your dance shoes, or step into the spotlight for the first time is an exciting new experience! Established in 1978, LAAPA-River Ridge School of Music, Dance & Acting is a division of the Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts and offers private music lessons, dance classes, and acting classes to kids, teens, and adults in the New Orleans / Jefferson area, including Harahan, River Ridge, Metairie, Kenner, Destrehan, Lakeview, Gretna, and more. Our fun and inspiring instructors teach a variety of lessons, including: - Music Lessons: Piano, guitar, voice, drums, violin, trumpet, flute, clarinet, saxophone and more. - Dance Classes: Ballet, hip hop, etc.. - Acting Classes - Singing Lessons
