ACTIVE SHOOTER & STOP THE BLEED TRAINING

STS can provide your organization and staff essential "Life Saving" training classes in the Active Shooter & First Aid areas. Our main training focus is our Active Shooter Awareness & Response (ASAR) and Stop the Bleed (STB) classes which we conduct at your facility.

Our “Active Shooter Awareness & Response” training is a 1.5 hour classroom based Instructor led PowerPoint session covering the following subjects; Active Shooter History, Psychology, Survival Mindset, Situational awareness, Preparation, Response Actions and Police Response. Clients can request scenarios be played out for staff participation.

Our "Stop the Bleed" training is a 1 or 2 hr classroom-based session covering how to handle major bleed injuries, beginning with an Instructor led 30 min PowerPoint covering; Survival Mindset, Tourniquets, Packing a Wound and Chest Seals, including IFAKs and improvised items. The PowerPoint is followed by either an Instructor demo or hands-on round robin session with your staff. This STB class not only can save lives by handling wounds typical in an Active Shooter event but will help save lives in normal everyday tragic accidents, vehicle accidents, work and home major bleed accidents.

STS can customize the training to fit the client's needs and have multiple classes for staff coverage.
