Metairie Ace will celebrate Father’s Day with the inaugural Dad Fest 2026, a family-friendly weekend event taking place June 12-14, one week before Father’s Day. The celebration is designed to help customers shop early while enjoying a festive atmosphere filled with gift ideas, family activities and special giveaways.

Throughout the weekend, customers can explore Father’s Day gift tables, shop “Dad Approved” gift ideas throughout the stores and create custom gift baskets for dad. Guests can also enjoy complimentary hot dogs, cookies, soft drinks and water, along with a free koozie with purchase while supplies last.

In addition to shopping specials, Dad Fest will feature free family activities on Saturday, June 13. Guests can also look forward to Father’s Day-themed entertainment and kid-friendly craft stations, along with other seasonal activities designed to make the event fun for the whole family.

“Father’s Day is a chance to celebrate the dads, grandfathers and father figures who mean so much to our customers and our community,” said Matt Skaer, owner of Metairie Ace and Bassil’s Ace. “We wanted to create an event that feels personal and fun, while also thanking the many fathers and men who have helped make our stores successful over the years.”

Guests will also have the opportunity to enter a “Best Dad Joke” contest for a chance to win a $200 Ace gift card. Entries may be submitted in-store or online.
